Replica of the 1960 model Predicta Continental (Model C2549)

This Danish-Modern style set was the last Predicta model television Philco manufactured. Its square mahogany cabinet was complemented by four wooden legs or fins, allowing it to fit in with the current trends towards Scandinavian-modern furniture design. For collectors the Continental model is the rarest. It was manufactured at the end of the Predicta era, and very few units were produced. The Predicta Continental was an expensive television set selling for $459.95 in 1960.
